Really?

How, with a clear conscience, can the state of Ohio cut the education budget when the courts still say the way Ohio funds education is unconstitutional?  They should simply NOT be allowed to do that.  Not to mention, the State of Ohio will be getting hundreds of millions of dollars added to their budget when they no longer have to return the Commercial Activity Tax (CAT) to the school dirstricts they've taken it from.  The Ohio Lottery added millions to education...and then the State proceeded to eliminate the general fund.  They create policies that cost districts money to put in place, and then they cut the funding.  I can't imagine how the districts in the southeastern part of the state can continue to function with such little money.  All the times I've been asked to send letters and emails to my Representatives, I think this time I'm sending them on my own.

What's with all this blogging??

So, do I dare jump into the art of blogging?  Or should I continue to read and peruse everyone else's blogs?  Well, I believe I have answered that question by starting this blog!!  Maybe it's because I'm FINALLY starting to feel settled and want to share experiences - in case someone else needs to know they aren't alone.  I'm a special ed teacher, I'm a mom, I'm a wife, I'm a daughter, I'm a sister.  I've got PLENTY of experiences to share!!!!!
